Weekly one-off 2 hour classes designed to suit

to pure creative indulgence, 8-week fashion design

courses or one day sewing workshops.

All the courses at the f.rock fashion Sewing Studio are designed,

for you start as a beginner and to develop your skills into a confident sewer.

From short

two-hour skill classes to a one-day workshop

before you know it you can be designing your own collection in an 8-week design course

All classes are limited to 10 people, so that each person gets

individual attention. Helen’s nurturing teaching style allows you

the freedom to learn at your own pace.

One off two-hour classes are designed to suit everyone’s sewing

requirements. Every week is a different class, so you can build

your skill level.

Know Your Machine & Machine Techniques, Basic Mending,

CREATIVE COFFEE CLUB

Kids are at school, the important things are done, now some me

time to delve into your creativity.

These 3-hour classes are for you to unwind, get creative and

develop some practical sewing skills you can use in the home.

8-WEEK DESIGN COURSE

A comprehensive 8-week fashion design course 2 hours per

week, where you will learn all the basics about creating a fashion

collection for sale or for the runway.

You will learn the process of how to put a collection together,

where to start plus how to find the resources to get your label off the ground.

Suitable for those wanting to start a fashion label, want to do the

markets or need a kick start.

Week 1 – Welcome and design ideas

Week 2 – Mood boards

Week 3 – Sketching the range

Week 4 – Fabric selection

Week 5 – Collating the range

Week 6 – Pattern making and sourcing

Week 7 – Pattern making

Week 8 – Sample making
